Worst case, I can see not letting hives restock nades. They already don't stock REs.
Sorry to call you out Breakin, but you're wrong on this one. Hives DO restock RE's. I have a Cal Logi fit I use for expressly this purpose. With a Standard Hive and F/45 nades, I can throw down 6 hives (one at a time obviously). Each hive replenishes 7 RE's. If you include the first 3 on the fit, I can throw out 45 RE's on a single fitting without having to go to a supply depot.

The train track map in Domination, inside the facility when there is action going on, I've sat and thrown RE's for 1/2 a match and racked up 20 kills without ever pulling out my weapon. I get behind a wall on the walkway and set some RE's with my nanohive behind me. The reds drop through the ceiling farther up the walkway. The reds come after me and I blow them up. Set a couple more, rinse, repeat.
Or, if they have the point, I can stand on the walkway, drop an RE or two down, wait for them to walk over, blow them up. Go back to the nanohive and restock.
Also the map with the Null cannon in the round room and the supply depot underground up the hallway. I will sit in the room, set RE's on each entrance, an Uplink, and nanohives with a rep tool. I can rep my heavies in there, and if someone is able to breach, I flip to RE's and L1 them. Set 2 more RE's, continue repping. I'm also resupplying and giving them a spawn point all in one.

I'm not totally disagreeing with you. I've mentioned it on quite a few other threads before (mostly the "nerf RE's" threads) and no one has ever seemed to think it was an issue (no one ever mentioned it as an issue at least).
However, just like the Mass driver/myofib scouts/assaults, I'm going to use it as a valid playstyle as long as the option exists.
I do believe they should be able to restocked, but the restock requirements should be quite a bit lower. Maybe be able to restock 2 or 3 per nanohive or something (we're talking 15 to 21 instead of 45).

Clusters per hive need to be brought down, and scaled with meta level.

Actually with a 2nd Nanohive in place of the uplink or rep tool, or a higher end Nanohive, you can put 90 + to 100 RE's on 1 fitting. 2 RE's and we are talking 180.

I agree there. There are people I've killed 6-7 times in one match at the SAME location. 1 guy I think I killed 11 times. If you are that stupid, you deserve to get blown up.

No you are correct Cross wirh your assumption. I was just adding to your argument by showing "just how far down the rabbit hole goes."
Yes for the most part I run 1 nano and 1 re which is where the 45 comes from. I do have a fit with Ishukone and standard nanohives, standard and F/45 RE's. I have never done a full scale test to depletion, but I believe I can hit in the neighborhood of 120 RE's with that fit, 5 RE's active at a time (I think std. RE's are max 2 active. I know the F/45's can have 3). If I swap the regular RE for a 3rd hive and go all proto with them, it is in the neighborhood of 190 total.
I put my comment about it right after your post saying basically what you did. If we are going to allow people to carry 6 hives, there needs to be a compromise on how many grenades/ RE's can be restocked by them.
I want balance in this game and this is a huge oversight/miscalculation. It is probably my favorite fit in the game but I understand it is probably not as intended and needs to be looked at I guess no one figured someone would go this route but in a sandbox game where creativity is encouraged, I came up with an enjoyable fit that is fairly easy to use but requires foresight and tactical thought (it is truly tactical because I have to plan for avenues of approach, retreat lanes, blocked exits, etc.)
Thanks for the responses on this amd giving it attention. I like my fit and could have just kept my mouth shut and abused it, but I know a broken gameplay and an exploit. I wanted to grt rid of the strafe glitch. I want to see the jumpy/mass drivers toned down. I have to accept this particular playstyle, even if I am the only one running it, needs to be looked at to prevent copycats and a field of nothing but Cal logis with RE's.
Btw, I didn't find this fit until AFTER they took the frisbee throwing away. Could you imagine this fit when they could be chucked 20 -30 yards?

I am with Cross. I don't have an issue resupplying them. I just think we need to look at how many can be restocked.

Easy fix and stops this cheating your way out of a gun fight. R2 is my gun's trigger, so that doesn't make sense to me, because it's a guy I can't kill with my gun, and then you say the gun provides an instant kill. -Praetorian controls.
I think he was meaning L2. At least, I hope so. That would make a lot more sense.

Agree completely. Taking away resupply altogether from any weapon (primary/sidearm, explosive) is too much of a nerf.
